Mail Order of Traditional Handicrafts and Folk Art

It was from the latter half of the Yayoi period to the 7th century that iron manufacturing technology was brought to Japan by continental immigrants. It is said to have been an iron kingdom in ancient times. Here in Tsugaru, there is a vast group of iron manufacturing sites at the foot of Mount Iwaki, which tells us that Tsugaru was an iron kingdom in ancient times. There is a town called Kaji-machi in Hirosaki City. Hirosaki City also has a town called Kaji-machi. As the name suggests, this is a town of cutlery. In the early Edo period, there were more than 100 blacksmith shops lined up in the castle town of Hirosaki. We are proud of such a long history. Nikara Cutlery Forges is proud of such a long history of Tsugaru Uchihamono. The Nikara family was ordered by the Tsugaru Clan to make swords, and since then, they have been engaged in this business. We are a prestigious sword smith with 350 years of tradition. Even in the Showa era, the famous Kunitoshi swords have received numerous honors from time to time and from people. It is impossible to talk about Nikara Forges without mentioning Kunitoshi Nito's predecessor, Kunitoshi. We have won many prestigious awards at the Sakuto Exhibition, and have made and presented swords dedicated to the Ise and Meiji shrines. A master swordsmith who made the ring-entering swords of the first and second Yokozuna Wakanohana, and who has risen to the level of being an unaudited swordsmith. Nitara Kunitoshi (born in 1906) ... Mr. Toshihisa Yoshizawa is the 7th generation who has "Kunitoshi Nittoh Kunitoshi" as his grandfather. This is a masterpiece of the Japanese kitchen knife that he poured all the skills of Kunitoshi Kunitoshi of Nittoh family into making this knife. This was my third visit to Tsugaru and I had the opportunity to meet a variety of people. Mr. Toshihisa Yoshizawa is also a member of the Hirosaki Craft Association, and I had been thinking of doing business with him from the beginning of this project as a hammer. We stayed for a week from the beginning of March, but he understood the purpose of "Handicraft Specialists" and agreed to do business with us. It was decided to From our conversation, we found out that we have many common acquaintances as well as like-minded people I was. He was right next door to me during the 7 years of "Romantopia Soma in the Stars and the Forest". I would like to share his desire to introduce "Joppari Kanuchi" as a brand of Tsugaru to the world.（2011.03.26）

History	The Nikara family is a renowned sword forger with 350 years of tradition since the Tsugaru clan ordered them to produce swords.
Cutlery Manufacturing Process	Nikara Forging is one of Japan's foremost sword smiths. Sword making is the pinnacle of knife making and requires high technology. It has been honed and enhanced.
Types and Uses of Knives	There are two types of knives: single-edged and double-edged. Single-edged knives are designed for professionals with their sharpness and beautiful finish, while double-edged knives are designed to cut a variety of foods with a single knife. Knives for home use.
