    「暗紋」は、弘前市の隣、世界遺産白神山地の麓、西目屋村にある暗門滝の波紋からヒントを得たできた模様です。世界遺産白神山地の麓にある暗門の滝は、ブナや松の老樹が生い茂り、険しい岩壁に囲まれた中を流れる暗門の滝と滝壺に広がる波紋の模様は、神秘的な雰囲気が漂い、訪れる人を魅了します。
  • 暗門の滝にインスパイアされ誕生した「暗紋」は製造工程が特殊で、鉄と鋼を幾重にも重ね磨き上げることで、暗門の滝のような美しい模様を作り出します。一つとして同じものの無い波紋の中に暗門の滝のような無限の美しさを感じとって下さい。

      幾重にも漆を塗り重ねそれを研ぐことで美しい模様が浮き上がります。
      墨流しや堆朱など日本人の感性に古から伝わる美しさです。
      二唐刃物鍛造所の刀を作る技術にその美しい文様が生かされることに津軽人の日本人の感性を見ることができます。津軽人は、昔北前船で今日からの情報や文化がいち早く伝わりました。
      津軽弁には、京言葉がたくさんあります。
