• We are a wood product manufacturer with four generations in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture.

• The company started when the great-grandfather of the current president, Takayuki Kimura, developed a ladder for growing apples made of Aomori hiba (Japanese cypress) using joinery technology, and now produces full-order furniture and fixtures made of Aomori hiba and Aomori cedar.

• We also make and sell child-friendly toys and other small items made from apple trees.

「The apple tree thing」

• Hirosaki City in Aomori Prefecture is Japan's largest apple production area.
  

• Apple trees bring us the blessings of Tsugaru apples every year, but when they finish their role, they are mainly used as firewood, and the others are disposed of.

• To use it as wood, it is difficult to harvest thick and long members and there are many joints, so it takes a lot of time to process it.

• CHIT●SE, the top brand of Kimura Mokhin Seisakusho (Kimura Woodcraft Factory), is a brand that is particular about making things out of apple trees.

• The apple trees used by Kimura Woodcraft Factory are harvested from farms, sawn and dried entirely by hand.

• Only 50% of the products can be used, but we go to great lengths to make them with apple trees as a local resource and with the desire to introduce the unique texture of apple trees.

• The word "CHITOSE/thousand years" is a very auspicious word meaning many years of longevity.
  

• The name of the place where our head office and factory have been located since our founding is also called "1000 years"
  

• .In the Edo period (1603-1868), the lord of the Tsugaru clan named this place "Mt. thousand Years", which overlooks the sacred peak of Mt.

• We named our top brand "CHIT●SE" because our desire to provide dreams and enrich people's lives by making use of local resources coincides with the origin of the place's name "thousand years".

• For me, the land of Tsugaru is a place of indelible memories. From 1995 to 14, I was assigned to the "Hoshi to Mori no Romantopia Soma" for seven years from Japan View Hotel Business Co.
  I consider it my second home. However, deep down in my heart, even though I am a lovable Tsugaru person, I feel a difference in my DNA. I met many people from Soma Village where I lived, Kikyono where I lived, and the theme park "Hoshi to Mori no Romantopia SoMa" where I worked.
• This led to the handiwork of Tsugaru, a handicraft specialist.
  A thousand years ago, I visited this town frequently and passed through it on my way to Joto and outside the gate.
  　The apple field was pruned, the flowers were picked, the berries were picked, and the harvesting and disinfection work was carried out 26 times throughout the year. In the winter and early spring, there was pruning and felling of old trees, and the apple trees, which could be said to be scrap wood, were piled up in the field.
  I would like to applaud the "CHIT●SE" made from that apple tree, as you would expect from a young Tsugaru person.
• The bark of the apple tree is a beautiful color with a beautiful grain and individuality.
